Here are a few Q and A's to help you to understand how this works.
Q. Is this all for real?
A. Yes it is, see HERE for proof.
Q. So how does the process work?
A. Simple! just sign up and complete your offer after which you will be given your own referal link. You then pass this on to your friends, family etc and ask them to sign up. They then sign up (just as you did) and complete an offer of their own, for each person that completes an offer you gain 1 credit to go towards the amount you need for the gift of your choice.
Q. If i have to complete an offer then its not free is it?
A. It can be, there are some offers which don't cost a penny such as signing up for a two week free trial of LoveFilm or opening a Bank Savings Account.
Q. So what offer would you recommend that i do?
A. The LoveFilm offer is a free and comes highly recommended. My personal favourite however is the Gala Bingo offer, it only costs £5 and i won a fair few quid when i did it.
Q. How can the freebie site (Kudos) afford to do this? What do they get out of it?
A. Simple, Kudos gets commision for every person that signs up and completes an offer. This is somewhere in the region of £30, from this they take £20 to go towards your gift and rest goes to them (see the breakdown below)
A Nintendo Wii is 8 refferals. 8 lots of £30 = £240, a Wii costs £160 thus earning Kudos £80 and earning you a Free Nintendo Wii.
Q. So what does the advertiser (Gala, Lovefilm etc) get out of this?
A. They get customers that are willing to try (and might actually like) their service. "Think Sky TV" they are always offering incentives of £50 or more for you to refer a friend, this works on the same principle.
Q. Do i have to give my debit or credit card details?
A. You will only be giving your details to the particular advertiser that you sign up to. These are all carried out through their secure servers. All the advertisers are reputable high street firms (Gala, Lovefilm, HSBC etc.) At no point will the freebie site have access to any of your details.
Q. Will i receive spam mail from any of the sites i sign up to?
A. No! all companies involved take their privacy policies very seriously.
Q. If i need further information who can i contact?
A. You can contact me HERE.
